Abstract
The aim of present thesis is to study the distance learning in real time between a student and a teacher with the support of the writing pad.
The topic is one of the most seasonable and useful topics in our days, that many young and aged people difficulty attend courses, lectures or workshops.
We will analyze distance learning and study its features, as well as modern educational softwares that support it. More specifically, we will see what distance learning means, in which categories it is separated, its history, learning and teaching, as well as an indicative teaching material that it can provide. Then we will look at distance learning with technological support, more specifically with the use of handheld devices, some of their features, and how the teacher interacts with the student. The subject that we will be particularly concerned about is the writing table.
Later we will mention some popular platforms that support distance learning. We will analyze their main features and find the weak points that do not qualify for the perfect teleconference between a student teacher.
In addition, we will thoroughly analyze a website that we have configured and relates to distance learning and we will see its features, usefulness and functionality. Then we will demonstrate its full functionality through some videos that will show examples of a real lesson. Finally, we will write some conclusions about all the work and see what could be the best future development on the site's implementation to have the best educational standards for the entire age and condition gap.
