Abstract
At this paper we are going to study Audiovisual Translation (AT), and especially subtitling. Our main goal is to answer the following question: What is the case nowadays conserning subtitling and swear words. Our basis is an original Netflix animated series, called Big Mouth. We will study the translation that appears both to professional and amateur subtitles. Finally, we will present the results of our research, which is based on the questionnaires we designed.
