Abstract
This diploma thesis is a detailed study and practical implementation of a website that serves the needs of a Department of a University.
The site will provide the interested community (the students, researchers, educators, etc.) and the general public (local and national) the information they are looking for. It is essentially an online bibliographic database that is linked to a modern Content Management System and a database.
The highly widespread and open source WordPress content management system was used to create the website.
