Abstract
In recent years, smart cities have aimed to improve citizens' quality of life by integrating hardware technology, software systems, and network infrastructures that provide real-world awareness of Information Technology (IT) systems. What makes a "smart city" work is the combined use of advanced infrastructure technologies to deliver its core services to the public in a highly efficient manner. Understanding the movement of people at the city level is crucial for urban planning and commercial development. In this paper, we present the design and development of an interactive platform that visualizes human mobility patterns and accessibility in smart cities. The platform uses data from various sources, including sensors, mobile devices, and public databases, to provide valuable insights for urban planning and decision-making. By visualizing human mobility and accessibility, the platform aims to empower city officials, planners, and citizens to make informed choices and create more inclusive and efficient urban environments.
