Abstract
This report presents the summary of my internship program carried out in Next Level Globalization (NLG), a company which is based in Thessaloniki, Greece, from June to August 2021. This internship took place within the framework of the Master's degree program "Science of Translation" of the Ionian University. Due to the prevailing health conditions and the measures taken to deal with Covid-19, the internship was conducted entirely remotely and not at the company's offices, as it would have been under normal circumstances. This report provides a detailed description of the responsibilities and tasks I performed as a Localization QA Specialist at NLG, as well as, a description on the goals I had set regarding what I wanted to gain through the internship and what it actually ended up offering me. The main reason why I was motivated to participate in this internship was that I wanted to put into practice all the theory I had learnt during my Master's program and also to be introduced to the working environment of a company. In addition, I wanted to explore the different roles and tasks a translator can take on, besides translating. Therefore, this internship was the right opportunity.
