Abstract
The basis of the preparation of this dissertation was a general study on the subject of learning difficulties that I had attended during my undergraduate studies in the pedagogical courses of the Ionian University and my desire as well as a ‘future teacher’, to study the existence of an important phenomenon that beset the educational system of my country and the whole community, namely the Learning Disabilities. This study was not only prepared for further knowledge on the subject, but mainly to be able, through the bibliographic sources and testimonies that I will collect, to demonstrate as best as possible the theoretical framework of learning disabilities, which is a common situation, since 1/10 of the students of modern Greece face such difficulties, as well as to refer specifically to the way of teaching the history lesson to students with learning disabilities. In this context, dialogues with people from the family environment of some of these special children would assist. My research didn’t stop there, but thanks to my internship in secondary schools, I noticed such forms of children with learning disabilities, recording on spot what I saw. At the end of this, I spoke with a speech therapist, I asked him five questions that arose in me about the issue of students in modern Greece facing such difficulties and I received interesting answers.
