Abstract
The myth of Orpheus's and Eurydice as three musical scenes inside a new music creation. The first scene begins shortly after Orpheus's marriage to Eurydice where Eurydice sleeps by a river and in her sleep is bitten by a snake and dies. The end of the act comes when Orpheus finds her dead and mourns but he is determined to go to the underworld to bring her back to life. In the second scene describes the part of the descent of Orpheus to the gates of Hades and the scene where he faces Cerberus. The third and last act of the myth begins from the moment that Hades lets Eurydice go with Orpheus but on the condition that he does not turn to look at her until they see the light of day. Then the act covers the difficult journey back until just before the exit where Orpheus turns and looks at Eurydice and she disappears forever. Finally the scene closes with the lament of Orpheus after he now knows that there is no return for his wife.
