Abstract
The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze how Asperger’s syndrome is represented in the cinema, as well as to document the production process of the short fiction film titled Thursday, the duration of which is twelve minutes. The movie records a regular day in the life of a man who is diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. The aim of this movie is to present the aforementioned disorder in an objective fashion and consequently to contribute to the global film library. It is a lighthearted film that diverts from movies in the same genre due to the absence of drama and glamorization.
