Abstract
With the passage of time and the advancement of technology, we can see that increasingly, computer science, electronic computers, and the internet play a significant role in people's daily lives as they contribute to improving the quality of life. The capabilities provided by electronic computers are increasing day by day with the development of technology. The use of electronic computers helps simplify certain tasks that in the past required more time and effort to accomplish, making information organization and the management of large volumes of data easier processes. These are just a few of the benefits that modern humans can have from the use of electronic computers.
The increasing use and dependence on computers in our daily lives are also attributed to the simultaneous evolution of the internet. The easy communication in all areas through the internet, whether it is an international or domestic financial transaction, a simple email, or even professional communication, are some aspects of the internet that make more and more people use electronic computers. Therefore, the virtual community of the internet is growing, and it is now evident that proper organization and control are needed for its smooth operation.
However, despite all the positives of using electronic computers and the internet, there are aspects that cannot be considered as positive or user-friendly. Electronic computers, along with the internet, can create fertile ground for the development of activities that are not entirely legal and can serve as useful tools for various forms of crime. Therefore, along with the rapid development of computer technology and the internet, cybercrime is also evolving, taking on modern and more serious forms, with the most current and serious form being cyber warfare.
Nevertheless, as the techniques of conducting cybercrime in cyberspace evolve, so do the methods and techniques of preventing all forms of electronic crime, as well as the preventive measures that every entity in cyberspace must follow, so as never to be endangered by a potential cybercriminal. The following work will provide an overview of all the methods of implementing cybercrime and then will focus on cyber warfare and the ways in which it can be prevented.
