Abstract
This particular thesis examines the possibility of creating an electro-acoustic music work based on and influenced by the structure and concepts of poetic speech. Through the reading and study of the poem “ Roses in the Window” by Andreas Empirikos, words and meanings are chosen in order to create a series of techniques and structures for the composition of sound work of electroacoustic music. In the following, ways in which corresponding attempts have been made in the past to combine in similar ways concepts-verbal material and poetic texts for the composition of sound or musical work (Concrete Poetry). Finally, the electro-acoustic project “ The meaning of...” is presented and the composition and processing techniques used are analysed.
