Abstract
This thesis examines the experience of a six-month internship in primary education, focusing on the teaching of music. The aim of the paper is to highlight the process of planning and implementing music lessons, as well as monitoring and evaluating the teaching practice. The research includes blueprints of music lessons and lesson diaries conducted in two primary school classes, namely a section of grade 2 and a section of grade 5. These diaries record the teaching methods used, the educational activities, the students' reactions, and the feedback received. Through the analysis of the diaries and profiles, the paper attempts to evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching strategies for teaching music in primary education. The findings of the study suggest that the integration of diverse teaching methods and active student participation contribute significantly to improving the educational experience and learning outcomes. The paper concludes with a reflection on this teaching experience and the conclusions drawn from the practical exercise. The reflection highlights the challenges and successes of the educational process, offering valuable introspection for the future professional development of the teacher.
