Abstract
The educational programs that are prepared and presented to cultural institutions throughout the country show a continuous increase and they attract a large part of the public, especially in recent years. Their purpose is to offer knowledge and experiences to the public, with cultural institutions being an important point of reference. This diploma thesis aims to record, study and compare educational programs that are entirely related to preventive and life-invasive maintenance of objects, organic and inorganic. Through the presentation of the educational programs, the important role of the conservator is highlighted, which contributes greatly to the preservation and protection of cultural heritage. In this particular work, the collection of information was done through a bibliographic study and structured questionnaires addressed to the planners and presenters of the programs but also to the public who participated in them, adult and non-adult. However, within the framework of the research, personal interviews were conducted with the maintenance staff of each institution (museum, archaeological site). The personal presence and participation of the author in several programs was considered important because a comprehensive recording, study and comparison of them was attempted, with the ultimate goal of drawing adequate conclusions about their course, evolution and acceptance. The comparative results of all questionnaires are drawn from the final conclusions to the questions posed in this survey.
