Abstract
The municipal art gallery of Agrinio is a modern art gallery and there is in the western district of Greece. Gallery contributes to the elevation of the cultural identity of it’s urban fabric. Is quartered in an old preservable building in a central point of the town. It’s permanent collection contains contemporary and modern artworks which are emanated from artist’s donation in whom collaborates for the organization of periodic exhibitions too. It has digital presentation in the social media. Is distinguished by extroversion and organizes educational – entertaining programs. For it’s action is published an interview with the artistic director and painter Christos Garoufalis, who speaks for the vision of gallery, his painting art and place. Are giving conclusions and some proposals for gallery’s development and emergence.
