Abstract
This dissertation entitled "Internship report at ALPHABET company and its critical evaluation" is original and took place during the third semester of my studies at the Postgraduate Programme "Science of Translation" offered by the Department of Foreign Languages Translation and Interpretation of the Ionian University. This report consists of four parts. In the first part, there will be the description of the institution where I completed my internship. I will refer to the logistical and corporate infrastructure of the company, the specialization it has and the customers that the company cooperates with, the workflow of the company and how the distribution of work to many of its partners, can help for the timely delivered projects, as well as the translation assistance tools that were used. In the second part of my report, I will analyze my participation in the production process of the company, the role I had taken, the duties, the supervision and the cooperation that existed with the organization in a general framework. In the third part, I will analyse the challenges I had to face, both in terms of the translation process and in terms of various situations arising from external factors, which should have been dealt with immediately. In conclusion, in the fourth and final part of my report, I will refer to a critical evaluation of the internship. Moreover, I will try to present some suggestions for the institution where I completed my internship, and in general, I will try to talk about the institution of my internship. The present report ends with some thoughts about the future, followed by the list of references.
