Abstract
A harmonic analysis of a miniature by Scriabin entitled "Poeme Fantasque", through both a tonal and whole-tonal filter. With the help of set theory, the interval symmetries in the chords-simultaneities of the work are traced and it's implied tonality is revealed despite the dominance of the harmonically unstable whole-tone scale.
