Abstract
This BA dissertation focuses on the translation of a medical text and more specifically a curable type of cancer, Classical Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It includes an extensive review of lymphoma pathophysiology and therapeutic developments, covering the subject from history to future perspectives. The purpose of this work is to inform about Hodgkin's Lymphoma, to discuss the translation challenges encountered and how they were addressed. After the summary in Greek is the summary in English, followed by the introduction. The introduction gives a short description of the work and the chapters that follow. Next is the commentary, in which a brief reference is made to the theory of the purpose of translation (Nord). Then, the translation problems encountered during the translation of this article are analyzed, which are followed by the conclusions of the translation of this particular text, and the various ways of solving the translation problems for easier understanding of the text.
