Abstract
The subject of this thesis is a search for unity between the different arts and cultures,
with the concepts of space and time as key points of intersection. During this investigation,
the phenomenon of gypsies emerges as a bridge of civilizations due to their mobile lifestyle,
recalling the fertile role of the bee. Due to their nomadic nature, they travel in space, as a
result of which they express themselves through arts related to time, such as dance and music, while settled peoples produce spatial arts such as architecture, sculpture and painting with the ultimate purpose of "traveling" in time. In order to translate unity into an audiovisual environment, a song was created in the Romani language, where through polyphony and polymorphy, the musical composition is connected with visual animation, movement, rhythm and poetry. In times when the Roma people's right to life is being questioned, this work tends to embody their voice through an inter-artistic personal point of view.
