Abstract
This dissertation deals with the creation of an application for the classification and
grouping of images with the help of machine learning algorithms and the neural network model
VGG16. The Transfer Learning method is used to shorten training times and limit the
computational resources required. The process of training and classification is being
coordinated through a web-based user interface, developed with Python, html and Flask
software. The dissertation presents the deployment and usage of the application developed, as
well as the conclusions and the future prospects of the selected method.
