Abstract
Social participation and consensus on Environmental issues are key priorities towards the
most effective and correct response to the Climate Crisis that is plaguing our planet. At the same
time, however, it presupposes, to a large extent, targeted environmental education so that the
divergent groups, from the common objective of protecting the environment, can assist in order
to improve the standard of living of the population and increase the chances of avoiding a bleak
picture for the ecosystems and earth’s future in general.
In the present master thesis, an extensive study was carried out on the prospect of making
extensive use of the existing wind resources in favor of the environmental protection as well as
the degree of social consensus and awareness.
