Abstract
This study delves into the multifaceted landscape of startups, with a particular focus on the tourism sector. By examining key definitions and characteristics, it outlines the critical factors that drive startup development and highlights the strategic policies necessary for growth. A variety of funding mechanisms, including venture capital, crowdfunding, and government subsidies, are scrutinized to evaluate their effectiveness in supporting tourism startups. The role of incubators and accelerators in nurturing early-stage businesses is explored, along with an analysis of successful models in the tourism industry. The study further offers a comparative evaluation of three innovative startups in the tourism sector, demonstrating the importance of innovation as a competitive differentiator. This comprehensive investigation aims to provide insights into the optimal strategies for startup development and the impact of innovation in driving success within the tourism sector.
