Abstract
This particular thesis includes the development and design of a web-based
application for the evaluation of university institutions by students. The lack of such a
website in the Greek web, caused the desire to create this website. The users register on
the platform by selecting important features, such as the university and the department,
that they belong to. Then, they log in to the website and submit a review of their
department. The overall score corresponds to both the department and the university.
These users have the option to delete or modify their review, if they wish to do so.
Student reviews contribute to the creation of averages for these educational institutions.
An additional function, is the option of presenting universities by location (North,
Central and South).
