Abstract
The full work of this thesis consists of two key parts: a lyrical text and a sound environment. These elements are intertwined and have evolved together, making it necessary to approach them as a unified whole. The poem plays with the familiar forms and atmosphere of the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale, while the soundscape is directly derived from the poem, both atmospherically and practically. This soundscape was created exclusively with sounds produced by my mouth, such as words from the poem, related words, and paralinguistic elements like grunts and breaths, depending on the evolving mood of the work. The sounds were recorded at home using the appropriate equipment to create new, unrecognizable ones. These new sounds, in turn, were combined to form layers that aesthetically align with the meaning of the poem. The final result also includes the poem's lines in a free recitation that I perform myself.
On a theoretical level, my work is supported by the arts from which I draw inspiration, as well as its psychological extensions, which resonate most with me in relation to Art. These extensions are connected to the poem’s theme, which uses the universe of Little Red Riding Hood allegorically to explore a deeper internal quest. The supporting text of the thesis provides explanations regarding the creation of the sound poem, the methodology I followed, and the related theoretical research.
