Abstract
The following thesis is a supporting text of the short documentary entitled Thanasis, created as part of my dissertation. Its purpose is the theoretical analysis of the practical part of the creation of this documentary about the life of a mentally ill person diagnosed with schizophrenia, through an unconventional interview, which arises as I spend time with him. The documentary aspires to serve as a window into Thanasis' life that faces not only the internal battles of schizophrenia, but also the external challenges posed by social prejudice.
