Abstract
The act of cataloging is one of the main pillars of the librarian's profession and the means to edify collections in the library. As the library institution is a living organism that interacts with the environment and its users, the diversity of her collection, the nativity of the multicultural needs the library tries to solve, aggregate in the frame of special collections, of which special measures are required.
The Case study of this paper, is the local collection ''Drama's Bibliography'', housed in the Public Central Library of Drama.
