Abstract
This thesis focuses on theoretical and practical research on the use of methods from the performing arts as well as artistic and technological tools in the development of individual and collective expression. Initially, the Theatre of the Oppressed is studied as the theoretical and philosophical basis of the content. A review is conducted on psychology and group theory, the elements that comprise them, and the socio-political implications in conjunction with the tool of storytelling. Additionally, the function of artistic and digital media in empowering oppressed groups is examined. As part of the practical research, a series of group workshops with detailed stages and techniques are analysed. Finally, an artistic project is presented as an extension of the research.
