Abstract
The present thesis focuses on the practical training that took place in a Public Primary School of the Ionian Islands during the academic year 2023-2024, specifically in the subject of music. The internship lasted from November 7, 2023 to April 25, 2024 and included attending lessons of the music teacher and my personal independent teaching. The two strands on which the practice was organised were the observation of four lessons in each class and the teaching of 16 lessons in class 3 (with 19 students) and 14 lessons in class 6 (with 12 students). The teachings, took place on Tuesday (3rd grade) and Thursday (6th grade). During the course of the thesis, experiences and observations are described and analysed from the observations and teachings, which are primarily based on reflection and self-evaluation. At the same time, the teaching approaches that were used are reported and evaluated, with the aim of improving them and identifying weaknesses during the training, both in the design of the plans and in the teacher's approaches. Through the practical process, the aim is to develop the teacher and the way in which he/she manages pedagogical approaches and material resources, always taking into account the needs of the students.
