Abstract
This thesis seeks to examine the relationship between the French language of humour and its representation in social media. The work is divided into three main parts: the original texts and their translations, the textual analysis and translation commands, and the conclusions. It is hoped that this will help to highlight the impact of the French language of humour in shaping contemporary culture and society.
