Abstract
Alternative ways of learning and information, often through online videos, have increased translation needs of such media. This particular dissertation presents the subtitling of a medical video, based on the first two films in the film series “Home Alone”: "Home Alone" (1990) and "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York", directed by Chris Columbus. Furthermore, the following commentary offers necessary information regarding the project’s translation strategy, research, and translation difficulties, as well as their solutions.
