Abstract
The science of Deep Learning has begun to play a fairly large role in Informatics and there are highly accurate identification systems for a wealth of information, some of which have already exceeded human capabilities. Using them for art recognition is a relatively new optic that several researchers have recently tried to address with a myriad of different approaches. In this dissertation an attempt will be made to create a model that has been trained using Convolutional Neural Networks ( CNNs ) that will aim to allow anyone either an artist or not to create a painting and to learn which artists in the database has influenced them or simply with whom their work has most similarities.
