Abstract
In a time where e-commerce is thriving, offering a huge variety of different products online, customers continue to face the issue of the challenge of the last mile deliveries. The present work is attempting to examine the last mile deliveries as well as the methods of improvement of product routing from a node point to each customer. Generally, this work refers to the branch of deliveries as a piece of the structure of the supply chain. The economic, social and environmental viability of the operations of the supply chain of the last mile deliveries poses a formidable social challenge, demanding essential organizational changes and technological inventions in transportations with the ultimate goal of customer satisfaction as the latter greatly depends on the resolution of the process of the last mile, which as to do with the method, the time and the pick up location of the shipments.
