Abstract
«At the international level, the cultural bodies as living cells of the society of every era are influenced by the general historical condition that prevails - political, economic, and cultural- they accept the new challenges and redefine their role. Their increasingly deeper connection with society especially in the last decades, the expansion of the public they address, the use of new technologies as well as the new forms of extroversion in the context of the constantly evolving era creates new data. The science of Museology adopts new trends and museum around the world aim to play a new modernizing role in the cultural field with an impact on all levels of society and the state».
This thesis focuses on three cases of study of cultural institutions operating in our country: the General Archives of the State, the National Library and the Historical Ethnological Society of Greece/National Historical Museum through the actions of which will present their goals in the field of extroversion and specifically, the actions concerning their opening to a wider audience.
