Abstract
In this thesis, I dealt with the translation of a text from French to Greek and its commentary. As a text source I used a PIPAME study entitled "Prospective du m-tourisme", a study dealing with the prospects of promoting tourism through mobile applications. Of course, since this is a very large study, I have translated certain fragmentary sections. In my thesis, firstly, the sections of the original french text are listed and then the translated passages in Greek follow. Afterward, comes the theoretical part of the work. The detailed commentary both of the source text and the translation strategy used, with reference and justification of the solutions to the main translation problems presented. Finally, an epilogue, regarding the conclusions I reached after personal rsearch, comes to close this paper.
