Abstract
The image of a labyrinth is a primitive and emblematic symbol. It is one of the oldest artistic creations of man and has been used as a symbol in the mythologies of most ancient civilizations.
The labyrinth is also associated with the search of the inner self. It is essentially a test for the walker. Facing various challenges along the way one can be leaded to the center of the labyrinth (or the maze) where the biggest challenge lies. In order to complete this ordeal, the traveler would have to find the way out of the dark labyrinth that would lead him to his rebirth.
The present study explores the correlation between the labyrinth and the inner self by combining theoretical research and the creation of an art project. For the completion of the project, the network labyrinth has been chosen, the characteristics of which are symbolically connected with the course of a person's life, the search for the inner self and the relationship between modern man and technology.
