Abstract
The object of this thesis is to create a
audiovisual work entitled "What is Eros". More specifically, purpose is
the artistic representation of the theme of love, framed by
directorial and aesthetic terms, relying on a pre-existing sound
composition, which took place in the course of individual work, with a teacher
Mr. A. Loufopoulos. In particular, emphasis is placed on its visual investment
concept of love and the creation of an emotional atmosphere, through
the symbolic representation of movements, colors and objects.
Under the guiding flow of the sound composition, the work presents a
abstract and symbolic approach to the subject that balances between the
artistic genre of video art and video clip. It is essentially a
narrative crafted with a personal audio-visual 'language', which
captures with artistic clarity the emotional stages of love, factor
thus, a special multimedia effect.
