Abstract
This assignment discusses the of archaeological sites and parks in the contemporary life and ways that will make these sites an essential part of the urban landscape with the case study of Mon Repos in Corfu. The aim of this study is to research the management of the cultural heritage and the relationship with the public and other ways in order the archaeological sites and parks to be centers of discussion, information and personal experience. In order to achieve this goal certain examples of archaeological sites and parks from Greece are used and analyzed. Also it discuses the history of Mon Repos archaeological park through the years and its role in the contemporary urban landscape of Corfu.
