Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is the presentation of a complete and post-modern museological and museographical study for the permanent exhibition of the Tsitsanis Museum in Trikala. For the paper, an extensive scientific bibliography was studied in order for it to have the appropriate scientific background and the confirmed validation needed for such a project. The study is an attempt to cover all the factors that contributed to the life, the work and the phenomenon of Tsitsanis, and to present them in a modern, experiential and accessible way to all. In more detail, the study contains the dominant idea that governs the rationale of the report that the author is trying to create and the perceptions on which its formulation is based, the objectives and the messages of the abstract and thematic units that it creates and many of the technical parts needed to shape the exhibition and and make it fall within the rules that bring about its sustainability. The development of the study is done through a multifaceted approach that aims at a calm and objective look at the life and work of Vasilis Tsitsanis and the evolution of folk song in the region of Thessaly.
