Abstract
This work uses the fields of Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology in an interdisciplinary way to
map emotional stress and to highlight any psychosomatic effects. Information on stress was
sought in Greek and foreign literature, questionnaires on the effects of stress were designed, an
analysis of the results of the questionnaires followed, an interactive art installation was
developed, which simulates stress, and the results of its use were analyzed.
According to this analysis, humans may be possessed by anxiety, but also by a multitude of
subcategories related to emotional stress and its derivatives, which can, in direct relation to
various emotions and psychosomatic symptoms, affect them to such an extent that they cannot
cope with daily life. However, proper management of emotional stress and anxiety can help as acriterion for proper career choice, or as a driving force to achieve goals.
