Abstract
The subject of this thesis is the translation and commentary of selected excerpts from the novel Dead Souls by Sam Riviere. I chose to translate excerpts from each chapter of the book that I considered significant in order to convey the plot of the work. More specifically, I translated approximately 4,000 words from English into Greek. The aforementioned novel has not been translated before, and there is no known translation of it, making this thesis an original work. The novel's theme revolves around the story of a poet who attends a gathering of various other poets and begins to decode the characters and lives of those present.
