Abstract
Doing my project in order to complete my studies, I decided to develop more of the stimulus I received during my school’s semesters and to build a multifaceted art project. A work that harmoniously is going to combine poetic speech with sound and image, with the goal to creates an artistic result. I chose to focus on women and the sea, making a parallelism between them, through my own perspective. With the word of the poem being amplified by the sound composition and at the same time the two together being combined with the visual material, with a common aesthetics, presenting to the viewer a work with many dimensions. Reaching the final creation and recognizing the nature of its multiple elements, it is a work that could be artistically included in the category of video art and the title I chose for it to describe my work is, "I SEA WOMAN”. In this paper I will analyze the methodology I followed to create this project, I will deconstruct my thinking and research behind it, presenting the stages of the work on a theoretical and practical level. More specifically, the analysis will be reinforced with references, with snapshots from the fields of work development, regarding speech, sound and image, with a list of influences, but also with the attachment of bibliography and work diary, in order to become a complete paper.
