Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to present how the notaries of the 1800s recorded their various cases. The tools, the language, the way of writing and the structure of the present day are examined. For the sake of clarity, references to words, symbols and phrases that are not known to the general public will be made. Initially, the notary only refers to the first document for some of his personal information. In addition, the validity, legality and integrity of the documents with the Corfu emblem on the corresponding pages are shown. The notary (Kourkoulos, 1800) in each document follows a specific pattern, stating at the beginning of each document the date, date, attendees as well as the name of each document. This creates a smooth consistency between the paleographic documents. The majority of the documents are Corfu resident contracts for land sales, wills, donations, debt repayments and electoral votes. Today, this particular document from which the research information was extracted is a public document and is available to the general public. However, in 1800 it was a private document and addressed to specific natural persons.
