Abstract
The viticulture sector is booming, with different grape varieties being widely studied and, especially in recent years, the search for higher quality plants even going down to the biotype level. Among other things, the use of suitable rootstocks seems to influence both the growth and characteristics of the plant and the characteristics of the raisins, and the wines produced. The selection of suitable rootstocks is among the most important choices that can be made, affecting at all levels the plant and the characteristics of the wines produced at all levels. In the present research, the viticultural characteristics of leaves and rails of the Robola variety will be evaluated in different combinations of rootstocks and biotypes. The results of the research show that there are no significant differences in the studied leaf characteristics between the combinations of rootstocks and biotypes evaluated.
