Abstract
In 2021 the eyes are turned to Greece on the occasion of the 200 years completed by the Revolution of 1821. It is characteristic that the opening was made solemnly by Corfu in collaboration with the Region of the Ionian Islands and the Ionian University.
It is an opportunity for Greece to arouse the admiration of all, not only with its unique historical burden, but also with its modern dynamics. The facts have been recorded from our history and do not change in any case. However, they must be captured through events so that we leave behind our great heritage in a more modern way, but without in any way altering our history. Persons and events that played a decisive role in the developments such as Filiki Eteria, Kapodistrias, Hellenic Revolution.
