Abstract
The subject of this thesis discusses the creative process of a short documentary about Lo-fi music genre. This genre will be presented through creators and their work focusing on the Lo-fi Hip-hop category. Documentary and Lo-fi genre theory and history, genre influences, philosophy, characteristics and production techniques are analyzed, emphasizing the D.I.Y. element as a basic principle. In addition, the text describes the implementation process and the narrative modes of the film as well as the requests that arose in the various stages of its realization. The conception of the idea and the theoretical approach of the subject are analyzed as well, ending with the practical views of the implementation, such as the shooting, the artistic choices, the form and the editing process.
