Abstract
The purpose of the present paper is to illustrate the book titled Ζητείται Ελπίς by Antonis Samarakis, using digital and analog sketches. The following text focuses on presenting
the theoretical background of the book, some information about the writer himself, the art period during which Samarakis wrote his short stories, as well as the studying of art movements, making a reference to
equivalent artists and generally to the writing of stories of that time. The aim of this paper is the making of a book about art , a new approach to this piece of literature*. The outcome of this project will be a book in the form of a magazine, with illustration sketches which will be on light coloured backgrounds. When it comes to the structure of the book each paragraph will be arranged with the corresponding pagination of the magazine and interrelated with a different sketch.
