Abstract
Microservices have emerged as a preferred method for system design. In large code repositories, applications often incorporate one or more databases, usually exceeding a single REST API, and in certain cases, comprising more than one frontend application. Organizations ensure the quality of these microservices through a technique of automated testing (integration tests). However, this approach poses challenges concerning time, resources, and reliability. In response to these challenges, this thesis suggests the creation of a system designed to address these issues by executing said tests in a distributed manner within a Kubernetes environment. This proposed system underwent testing with three distinct experiments using test suites from a widely-used code repository. The outcomes highlight a boost in the execution speed under particular conditions.
