Abstract
J. L. Borge’s entry into Greek literature took place through translation and mainly
thanks to the contribution of A. Kyriakidis, D. Kalokyris and N. Vagenas. The main
subject in the present research is the connection between Borges’ and Cavafys’
poetry and how that is being tapped into the anthology of translation by N. Vagenas
“The three hermits and other poems”, which in its entirety refers to Cavafy’s poetry.
