Abstract
The current paper entitled "Local government archives: The case of the Afionas Community of Corfu (1960-2000)" is the presentation of the archival research carried out in the archive of the Afionas Community. The work includes four chapters, which present theoretical elements for the structure, operation and responsibilities of the OTA (Local Government Organisations), the changes in the legislation and their formation, as well as the research that was carried out in the archive, with the description of the process, the problems encountered and the recording of the file.
