Abstract
This thesis presents in detail all the Pre and Post Production of the dance-theatre performance "Int. Dark Room". A scene from a feature film I have written, an adaptation of Sophocles' "Oedipus Rex".
The performance’s duration is 15 minutes, composed by Oedipus and the twelve members of the chorus while the place in which it takes place is a closed circular theatrical stage. The basic form of expression is the dancers’ movement. Since this scene is a surrealistic reality in the subconscious of the protagonist, the dialogue between the chorus and Oedipus happens only once. We feel his thoughts through movement and the sound that he creates with a self-made musical instrument. Music expresses his feelings.
