Abstract
The present thesis, entitled "Report for the internship carried out at the translation
company "EL-Translations", was written within the framework of the Postgraduate
Studies Programme "Science of Translation", offered by the Department of Foreign
Languages, Translation and Interpreting of the Ionian University. This thesis was
written with the aim of recording in detail the overall experience I had as an intern,
during my two-month remote internship, at the translation company "EL-Translations". More specifically, this thesis provides a detailed description of the body and my participation as an intern in the production process. Next, the challenges and difficulties I encountered are being analysed, followed by a critical evaluation of the internship. Finally, there is an appendix which includes the Portfolio with the original texts and the translations carried out during the internship.
