Abstract
This thesis describes the six months of practical teaching that took place in a primary school
in Crete. It includes an introduction in which the whole period of the six-month practice is
reported, as well as information focusing on the school's image, the classes in which lessons
were conducted, the relationships developed with other teachers and the general class
environment. Diaries that were created following reflection are then recorded. They report on
difficulties that arose, at the educational and personal level, in the conduct of the lessons, and
ways of dealing with them. In addition, lesson plans are provided, detailing the course and
the pedagogical methods, objectives and assessment used for each subject area. In
conclusion, the reflections and conclusions attempt to enrich the description of the experience
of the six-month internship, as they are an important part of the comprehensive presentation
of the educational process. In conclusion, it was shown that a reflective teacher cultivates the
ability to resolve problematic situations and enhances the ability to develop on a personal and
educational level.
